The lacquered version of Greffage develops the concept of interlocking through a composition of parallel and perpendicular elements along different directions. The lines remain ordered, while their intersections introduce movement and depth.

The slender metal elements pass through thicker parts, creating an alternation of solid volumes and open space. Each intersection changes the outline of the console, giving it a different appearance according to the viewing angle.

The lacquered finish brings colour into the geometry and conveying more uniform appearance. Whereas the wood grain contributes directly to the identity of the ash version, here the continuity of colour highlights thicknesses, connections and directions.

The metal detail introduces a bright accent, subtly interrupting the rigour of the parallel lacquered parts. Light is focused on the metal, enhancing the interplay between the different depths of the structure.

The choice of different colour options allows the console to take on different characters while preserving its strong identity. Colour thus becomes part of the project, rather than a mere decorative detail.

Lacquered Greffage interprets HESSENTIA’s console through geometry, colour and metal. Intersections and reflections run through the ordered lines of this piece, creating a balance between rigour and movement.
