Macrame is a wall lamp consisting in a series of interwoven tubular metal elements. The idea of weaving is translated into a metal composition in which different lines overlap.

The elements are made of brass with matt gold finish. The reflective metal surface enhances the look of the structure and creates variations in light according to the viewing angle.

Blades of light emerge the tubular elements and are projected onto the wall. The lighting thus extends beyond the lamp into the surrounding space, making the wall part of the design.

Light also highlights the sculptural details of the structure: reflections and shadows overlap with the interwoven metal, revealing its depth and connections.

Despite its generous dimensions, the structure’s linear elements create a sense of openness. Voids, overlapping shapes and shafts of light soften the visual impact of the metal.

Macrame transforms the idea of weaving into a contemporary luminous motif, bringing together brass, geometry and light in a composition that appears to be drawn directly on the wall.
