Pilar is a contemporary console with simple geometric design, built around the balance between solid volumes and surfaces that appear suspended. The clean lines of this piece brings the craftsmanship of the materials into particular focus.

The structure is made of textured fiberglass, worked and finished by hand. Its surface has a rich, vibrant texture that creates depth and subtle perceptual variations along the volume.

Fiberglass allows for the creation of fluid, continuous shapes while maintaining a compact, sculptural look. Handcraftsmanship softens its uniformity, enhancing the effects given by the light, with reliefs and tonal variations becoming part of the design.

Bronze inserts obtained through an artisanal sand-casting process introduce a second material layer. Bronze creates a visual and tactile contrast with fiberglass, bringing together two very different artistic techniques.

The variations given by the handmade creation make each piece naturally different and one of a kind. Geometric purity thus coexists with artistic uniqueness.

With Pilar, HESSENTIA interprets the console concept through a balance between rigour and material: fiberglass creates the volume, bronze introduces depth, and the artisan’s hand remains visible in textured surface.
