A collection from the sea
We are glad to announce that Hessentia has further strengthened its valuable partnership with the masters of the glassmaking art in Venice. This collaboration continues to celebrate the craftsmanship and unique aesthetics of artistic glass, creating new opportunities to offer unique pieces that combine tradition and contemporary design.
In the 2023 collection, the 'Laguna' series represents the unbreakable bond with this place. The name 'Laguna' is inspired by the Venice lagoon, an area where the island of Murano pioneered the development of the art of glassmaking, involving other surrounding areas over the following decades. Cast glass is poured into cylindrical moulds, left to cool and then coloured, to give the glass its ever-changing and unique colours.
