Edison is a contemporary wall light designed to diffuse atmospheric light through a cylindrical metal structure. Its simple geometry is transformed by irregular openings that define the lamp’s luminous character.
The perforations run across the metal surface in a deliberately uneven pattern. A point of light emerges from each opening, creating a luminous constellation that interrupts the continuity of the cylinder.
Light is therefore fragmented into a sequence of points rather than diffused as a uniform beam. The wall becomes the backdrop on which the lamp’s design extends beyond its physical boundaries.
The contrast between the minimal line and the irregular openings is one of the design’s principal features. The precision of the cylindrical volume meets a freer pattern that makes light part of the decoration.
Edison is ideal for linear or repeated installations: several elements disposed on the same wall multiply the rhythm of the points of light, allowing different compositions to be created.
Edison interprets the wall light as a small volume that draws with light: the metal contains the source, while the openings create a luminous pattern.
