Flucta is a sculptural console designed through the meeting of artistic metal casting and marble chips. Two materials of different natures create a composition in which surface, rhythm and craftsmanship become the principal means of expression.

Bronze or brass is worked through sand casting, a process that reveals subtle variations and traces of craftsmanship. The refined shape thus meets a lively material that retains the memory of the handwork technique.

The wave motif of the metal sheet is the console’s distinctive feature. A continuous movement appears to flow across the surface, changing its look with light and making the outline recognisable from different viewing angles.

The marble chips add fragments, colours and natural variations of stone into the core of this piece. It contrasts with the metal and brings a more irregular texture to the console.

In Flucta, the material appears to follow a movement: metal becomes a wave, while marble interrupts the uniformity of the surface with its natural pattern. The functionality of the console thus becomes part of a broader exploration of the relationship between shape and craftsmanship.
