Nora is a contemporary sideboard with curved lines, built around the relationship between natural marble and square-weave Vienna straw. The meeting of a dense mineral surface and a lighter woven texture immediately defines the product’s material character.

Vienna straw introduces regular geometry and a sense of filtered openness. The weave gives the volume visual lightness, reinterpreting traditional craftsmanship through contemporary proportions and shapes.

Marble brings veining, colours and natural variations into the composition. The strength of stone meets the lightness of the weave, creating a contrast in which the two materials remain distinct while enhancing one another.

The vertical elements supporting the piece barely touch the top. The contact point creates the impression of slight pressure on the surface, giving rise to a distinctive interplay of interlocking shapes.

Curved lines follow these structural transitions, softening the relationship between vertical elements and the horizontal shape of the sideboard.

With Nora, HESSENTIA brings the heritage of weaving and the uniqueness of stone into contemporary storage unit. Vienna straw and marble become two distinct voices within the same design, balancing lightness and material presence.

HESSENTIA can customize this piece to suit your project needs. Some limitations apply.
