Nova is a contemporary chandelier composed of a sequence of rectangular rings, each containing an oval-shaped sphere of hand-blown glass. Geometry and organic shape meet in a vertically arranged composition.

The regularity of the ring relates to the soft outline of the glass. Each element appears to envelope and protect the luminous sphere, creating a rhythm in which clean lines and curves are perceived simultaneously.

The oval-shaped spheres are handcrafted by master glassmakers using the glassblowing technique. The manual process introduces subtle differences into the purity of the form, inherent in the nature of the handcrafted material.

Light diffuses through each glass element and casts shadows into the surrounding space. The chandelier therefore creates a broader luminous presence, in addition to illuminating downwards.

The vertical sequence allows the composition to be perceived from different perspectives, while the repetition of the elements preserves the recognisable design language of Nova collection.

Nova brings the meeting of geometry and hand-blown glass to HESSENTIA lighting, transforming light into a sequence of suspended volumes.
