Greffage is a contemporary console composed of a sequence of parallel and perpendicular elements which are combined in an apparently rigorous yet dynamic setting. Their different directions create depth, giving  this console a distinctive look that can be appreciated from several viewpoints.

Slender metal elements alternate with more substantial ash wood components, intersecting to create a harmonious interplay of materials and shapes. The concept of interlocking, distinctive feature of Greffage collection, becomes the foundation of the console’s construction, shaping the rhythm of the entire piece.

In this version, ash represents the natural expressiveness of solid wood. Grain, colour variations and the continuity of the fibres interact with the precision of the metal elements, creating a contrast between natural material and geometric structure.

The metal detail brings light into the composition and visually interrupts the parallel setting of the wooden elements. Its presence gives a strong identity to the console, changing the perception of the piece while preserving its balance.

Viewed from the side, the console reveals overlaps and intersections that are not immediately apparent from the front. Space appears to enter and pass through the structure, making gaps and distances active parts of the design.

Greffage interprets HESSENTIA’s console through interlocking shapes, solid wood and metal, balancing geometric rigour with the natural variations of the material.
