Ovoo is a HESSENTIA table inspired by Mongolia’s ritual landscapes and the ancient tradition of stone cairns, built on mountain peaks as symbolic markers and points of reference. This image inspired a composition of overlapping shapes, material balances and a dialogue between wooden surfaces and artistic brass casting elements with a patinated finish.

The amorphous wooden top enhances the grain, direction of the fibres and natural appearance of the surface. Artistic brass casting details introduce depth, warmth and a textured patina that gives the structure greater intensity and distinction, making the table a piece with a story as well as a function.

Each piece retains its identity through natural wood variations, finishes and subtle differences arising from the handcraftsmanship of its metal casting elements. Ovoo thus interprets the table as a meeting of cultural memory, natural material and contemporary Made in Italy design.
