Ovoo is a HESSENTIA table inspired by Mongolia’s ritual landscapes and the ancient tradition of stone cairns, built on mountain peaks as symbolic markers and points of reference. The version in a single material and colour represents a simpler evolution of the design. The inspiration is reinterpreted through overlapping lacquered wood components, creating a table with a more minimal, continuous and contemporary design language.

Lacquer enhances the purity of the shapes, giving the surface a uniform, solid and restrained appearance. In the oval version, a diagonal cut in the top introduces a subtle graphic feature that interrupts the continuity of the surface while keeping the design light.

This Ovoo variant focuses on proportion, colour and shape, without the contrast of artistic metal casting. The result is a restrained yet distinctive table in which HESSENTIA’s exploration is expressed through compositional balance, finish quality and contemporary Made in Italy design.
